The Regularized Hadamard Expansion

A local expansion is proposed for two-point distributions involving an ultraviolet regularization in a four-dimensional globally hyperbolic space-time. The regularization is described by an infinite number of functions which can be computed iteratively by solving transport equations along null geodesics. We show that the Cauchy evolution preserves the regularized Hadamard structure. The resulting regularized Hadamard expansion gives detailed and explicit information on the global dynamics of the regularization effects.

Per farlo, si seguiranno i percorsi biografici di quattro militanti di Lotta continua, il gruppo politico nel quale Impastato aveva militato fino al 1976, che si collocava nel vasto e complesso mondo della sinistra italiana esterna al Partito comunista. Cette étude évalue la discrimination dans l’accès à l’emploi dans trois professions présentes à la fois dans le secteur privé et dans la Fonction Publique. Deux dimensions sont examinées : l’effet de la réputation du lieu de résidence et l’effet de l’origine maghrébine. Elle est réalisée sur données expérimentales de testing réalisé dans trois professions en tension pour lesquelles la discrimination devrait a priori être très réduite : les responsables administratifs de catégorie A, les techniciens de maintenance de catégorie B et les aides soignantes de catégorie C. Comparison among three boundary element methods for torsion problems: CPM, CVBEM, LEM

This paper provides solutions for De Saint-Venant torsion problem on a beam with arbitrary and uniform cross-section. In particular three methods framed into complex analysis have been considered: Complex Polynomial Method (CPM), Complex Variable Boundary Element Method (CVBEM) and Line Element-less Method (LEM), recently proposed. CPM involves the expansion of a complex potential in Taylor series, computing the unknown coefficients by means of collocation points on the boundary. The Syntax–Pragmatics Interface in Heritage Languages: The Use of anche (“Also”) in German Heritage Speakers of Italian

This paper deals with the use of anche (“also”) by German heritage speakers of Italian (“IHSs”). Previous research showed that anche and its German counterpart auch share many features but also display language-specific characteristics. According to previous research on bilingualism, heritage speakers show cross-linguistic influence (“CLI”) when a linguistic phenomenon is at the syntax–pragmatics interface and there is a partial overlap in the two languages at stake. Therefore, we expect the use of anche in IHSs to be influenced by CLI. By analysing data from a semi-spontaneous corpus, we investigate the production of anche in order to understand which factors shape the grammar of the IHSs.…
