In recent years online shopping has become a popular and convenient instrument for companies to buy and sell products. However, the design of these web-shops does not offer the rich multisensory experiences than physical retailing offers. In the paper we argue that audio-visual contents could provide dynamic multisensory information to offer more engaging experiences to the consumer, but to achieve this goal, audio-visual contents need to be adjusted to the cultural characteristics of the users. Letter-speech sound (LSS) integration is crucial for initial stages of reading acquisition. However, the relationship between cortical organization for supporting LSS integration, including unimodal and multimodal processes, and reading skills in early readers remains unclear. In the present study, we measured brain responses to Finnish letters and speech sounds from 29 typically developing Finnish children in a child-friendly audiovisual integration experiment using magnetoencephalography. Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää millaisia käännösratkaisuja kääntäjät ovat käyttäneet kulttuuristen viittausten ja sanaleikkien kääntämiseen audiovisuaalisessa aineistossa, joka asettaa kääntämiselle monia haasteita. Tutkimusaineistona on amerikkalainen tv-sarja Gilmoren tytöt (Gilmore Girls), josta tarkastellaan kulttuuriviittauksia seitsemästä jaksosta ja sanaleikkejä 14 jaksosta. Tutkimuksessa otetaan huomioon sekä ruotsin- että suomenkieliset tekstitykset, jotta saadaan variaatiota mahdollisiin käännösstrategioihin ja voidaan vertailla eroavatko erikieliset tekstitykset käännösmetodien osalta.
