Hoffmann, The Oval Portrait by Edgar Poe, The Unknown Masterpiece by Honoré de Balzac and Walter Eisenberg by Konstantin Aksakov. According to Ovid, Pygmalion manages to create a fertile woman, contrary to Narcissus.
