The contribution in question is concretized in the work of collation of the juridical, non-juridical, epigraphic and papyrological sources cited and discussed both in the individual contributions and in the bibliographic review collected in "IVRA. Efficiency analysis in banking firms: An international comparison
1997
The intensive process of financial European integration, together with the profound transformation and deregulation that has taken place in the Spanish Banking System, justifies the evaluation of its efficiency in comparison with that of other banking systems. In this context, the aim of this study is to analyze the productivity, efficiency and differences in technology of several banking systems. Using a non-parametric approach together with the Malmquist index, we compare the efficiency, productivity and differences in technology of different European and US banking systems for the year 1992. Finally, for a subsample of banks belonging to the same group of countries, using real as opposed…

H-Point standard additions method for resolution of binary mixtures with simultaneous addition of both analytes
1995
Abstract The basis of the H-point standard additions method, HPSAM, with simultaneous addition of both analytes is proposed for the resolution of binary mixtures. It is a modification of the previously described H-point standard additions method that permits the resolution of both species from a unique calibration set by making the simultaneous addition of the two analytes. The method uses as analytical signals the absorbances at pairs of wavelengths where each species shows the same absorbance. The required data to apply the method are the absorbance values at the previously selected wavelengths for the sample alone and spiked with both species at known concentrations.

ROBUST CONTROL STRATEGIES FOR MULTI—INVENTORY SYSTEMS WITH AVERAGE FLOW CONSTRAINTS
2006
Abstract In this paper we consider multi—inventory systems in presence of uncertain demand. We assume that i) demand is unknown but bounded in an assigned compact set and ii) the control inputs (controlled flows) are subject to assigned constraints. Given a long—term average demand, we select a nominal flow that feeds such a demand. In this context, we are interested in a control strategy that meets at each time all possible current demands and achieves the nominal flow in the average. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions for such a strategy to exist and we characterize the set of achievable flows. Such conditions are based on linear programming and thus they are constructive. In …
The Determination of the Reaction Rate for the First Step in a Consecutive Reaction A → B → C by Absorbance Measurements Using the Wavelength of the …
1977
Kinetic experiments are often followed by spectroscopic measurements in the visible or near ultraviolet region. The advantage is not only that the results can be recorded continuously, which makes very fast reactions accessible, but also that very low concentrations of substrates can be used. This means that only very small amounts are required and, more important perhaps, that reagents can be used in excess. Thus pseudomonomolecular conditions and first-order kinetics often can be achieved easily.
