La questua di denaro, di alimenti e di capi di bestiame, il sacrificio di questi ultimi e il banchetto collettivo sono ancora oggi fra le azioni rituali più importanti delle feste campestri della Sardegna. Attraverso la descrizione e l’analisi di alcuni casi di studio, il contributo si propone di indagare l’importanza del cibo in ambito festivo. Durante il banchetto, infatti, si creano e si rinnovano relazioni e gerarchie, si esalta l’abbondanza e il consumo, si ribadisce l’appartenenza alla comunità e al culto comunitario. Para-Toluene sulfonic acid doped polyaniline (PANI), PANI/chitosan composites, PANI/reduced graphene-oxide composites and a ternary composite comprising of PANI, chitosan and reduced graphene-oxide have synthesised via oxidative polymerisation of aniline by Ammonium peroxydisulfate (APS). FTIR, XRD, FESEM and UV-VIS techniques were performed for the confirmation of the successful synthesis. The fundamental optical parameters such as, complex refractive index, complex dielectric constants and optical conductivity of the PANI and the composites were investigated in the UV-VIS-NIR range. Energiapuuta käytetään yhä enemmän uusiutuvan energian lähteenä. Energiapuun korjuussa hakkuutähteitä eli kantoja, oksia ja latvuksia kerätään päätehakkuun ja harvennuksen yhteydessä hakkuualoilta. Tämä vähentää erityisesti pienikokoisen lahopuun ja kantojen määrää. Lahopuu on tärkeä resurssi boreaalisissa metsissä, mutta sen määrä talousmetsissä on alhainen luonnonmetsiin verrattuna. Worsening of pre-existing psychiatric conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic

This study anonymously examined 2,734 psychiatric patients worldwide for worsening of their pre-existing psychiatric condition during the COVID-19 pandemic. Valid responses mainly from 12 featured countries indicated self-reported worsening of psychiatric conditions in 2/3rd of the patients assessed that was validated through their significantly higher scores on scales for general psychological disturbance, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression. Abstract Context Information regarding sleep disturbances in the population with advanced cancer is meager. Objectives To assess the prevalence of sleep disturbances and possible correlations with associated factors in a large number of patients with advanced cancer admitted to different palliative care settings.
