The Paleozoic Saharan platform including the peri-Hoggar Basins (i.e. Murzuq, Illizi, Mouydir, Ahnet, Reggane and Tim Mersoï basins) are defined as intracraonic basins. Their histories have been dominated by slow long-wavelength vertical motions leading to overall low subsidence rate (i.e ca. 10 m/Ma to 50 m/Ma) and accumulation of an extensive cover of platformal sediments (i.e. shallow deposits environments), rhythmed by pulsatile periods of increasing and decreasing rate probably triggered by regional geodynamic events. La limite Carbonifère- Permien correspond donc à une période clé dans l’évolution géodynamique globale, à la transition entre une période orogénique et une période de rifting. The question to be addressed here is that of the agglomeration/dispersion forces that are likely to account for the location of people and jobs in rural areas and the way they explain spatial patterns in rural areas depending on urban influence. Economic geography models may provide suitable tools with which to investigate the organization of rural areas. We first review these models, focusing on dispersion forces, which rest basically on land consumption and transport costs. Thus,this study aims to analyze the rainfall field of Benin from the fifty three (53) meteorological stations from 1950to 2010 and to detect the rainfall amounts and the average temperature of six synoptic stations and thehydrometric stations of Niger river in, Benin, Pendjari, Ouémé, Mono and Couffo.
