Ecological stoichiometry is important for revealing how the composition of chemical elements of organisms is influenced by their physiological functions and ecology. In this study, we investigated the elemental body composition of queens, workers, and males of the bumblebee Bombus terrestris, an important pollinator throughout Eurasia, North America, and northern Africa. Our results showed that body elemental content differs among B. terrestris castes. Young queens and workers had higher body nitrogen concentration than ovipositing queens and males, while castes did not differ significantly in their body carbon concentration. The paradox of successful invading species is that they are likely to be genetically depauperate compared to their source population. This study on Colorado potato beetles is one of the few studies of the genetic consequences of continent-scale invasion in an insect pest. Understanding gene flow, population structure and the potential for rapid evolution in native and invasive populations offers insights both into the dynamics of small populations that become successful invaders and for their management as pests. The purpose of this article is to analyse the differnt civil process of the Civil Procedure Law that can be used for the recovery of illegally occupied properties: eviction for precarious, injunction to recover possession and action action for the protection of registered property rights. Special attention is paid to the new procedure of rapid recovery of possession that has been created by Law 5/2018 amending the classic injunction to regain possession.

Approaches to the identification and assay of flavonoids in bee bread extracts by spectrophotometric method

Flavonoids are regarded as key compounds in bee bread. In this paper, quantitative determination of sum of flavonoids and dominating group of flavonoids were carried out by colorimetric aluminum chloride method. The principle of aluminum chloride colorimetric method is that aluminum chloride forms complexes with flavones and flavanols wherein it reacts with the C-4 keto group and hydroxyl groups of the ring C, and/or ring A and/or ring B. Tässä tutkimuksessa perehdytään K-kertaisesti kiellettyjen uniikkien beetasiirtymien faasiavaruusintegraaleihin. K-kertaisesti kielletyt uniikit beetasiirtymät ovat beetahajoamisten alaryhmä, ja faasiavaruusintegraalit kuvaavat hajoamisreaktion jälkeisiä lopputiloja ja antavat muun muassa tärkeää tietoa siirtymän hajoamisvakiosta. Andrea Giacobbe, a forester who deserves to get out from oblivion. The scientific production of Andrea Giacobbe, a Sicilian forester who worked in central and northern Italy in the last century, has been revisited. The aim is to highlights how his contribution to botany, forest ecology and forestry has been largely overlooked. He was the protagonist of a lively debate with the greatest for est scientists of his time, he produced 64 papers and books, but above all he proposed many inno vative reforestation techniques that today should be rediscovered and applied.
Structural variables drive the distribution of the sensitive lichen Lobaria pulmonaria in Mediterranean old-growth forests

a b s t r a c t We tested the hypothesis that structural variables related to old-growth features affect the distribution of Lobaria pulmonaria in a Mediterranean National Park of Italy. A total of 36 plots, with old-growth characteristics and representing overall three forest types (beech- oak- and mixed- forests) were studied. The lichen was absent in about half of the sites, suggesting that the selection of old-growth forests based solely on structural features is not sufficient to predict the presence of this species, which therefore proves to be rather sensitive and selective.
