Realizacja zasady równości w zakresie dostępu do dóbr kultury narodowej
2021
Celem niniejszego tekstu jest udowodnienie, że art. 6 ust. 32 i 33 Konstytucji RP. 6 ust. 1 jest także konkretyzacją art. 5 in fine o…

For this reason, occupational health psychology is increasingly focused on identifying the relationships between job characteristics and psychological well-being. Do intensified job demands predict burnout? How motivation to lead and leadership status may have a moderating effect
2023
ObjectivesThe aim of this longitudinal study was to investigate how intensified job demands (job-related planning demands, career-related planning demands, and learning demands) are associated with burnout. We explored whether affective-identity motivation to lead moderates this association and, thus, functions as a personal resource regardless of leadership status. We further investigated whether the possible buffering effect is stronger for those professionals who became leaders during the follow-up.MethodsOur sample consisted of highly educated Finnish professionals (n = 372): part of them (n = 63, 17%) occupied a leadership position during the 2-year follow-up while the rest maintained …
Is work intensification bad for employees? A review of outcomes for employees over the last two decades
2022
Work intensification (WI) is a notable job stressor, which has been hypothesised to result in various negative outcomes for employees. However, earlier empirical studies regarding this stressor hypothesis have not yet been reviewed. Our narrative review focused on the outcomes for employees of WI as a perceived job stressor. Our review was based on selected qualitative and quantitative empirical studies (k = 44) published in peer-reviewed journals between the years 2000 and 2020. Altogether, the findings of these studies showed that WI was related to various negative outcomes for employees, such as impaired well-being and motivation, supporting the stressor hypothesis. Stressful WI manifest…
Enabling leadership promotes a positive working climate
2013
This study looks for current information about factors related to educational leadership that help to promote a positive working climate and which may ultimately influence the employees' overall well-being at work. Promoting employee well-being has become a crucial leadership issue in the Finnish society. Leadership training has been found to have a key position in…
Hybrid Work: Gen Z Expectations and Internal Employer Branding Implications
2022
Gen Z – also known as ‘Generation Z’ or ‘iGeneration’ born between 1997 and 2009 – has been hit the hardest by the pandemic and remote work. Whilst the global workforce will include nearly 27% of Gen Z by 2025, it appears essential to address their needs and preferences. This chapter provides new Gen Z white-collar workers’ insights hitherto scarce in research – comparably to those of Gen Z students – to help understand how to motivate, engage, and develop them. In particular, Gen Z's values and expectations for hybrid work emerge from 15 qualitative online interviews leveraged to advance recommendations to enhance internal employer branding – that is branding intended for the organisation’…
NEURAL CONTROL OF GAIT IN PEOPLE WITH HAEMOPHILIC ARTHROPATHY
2022
Building transformative capacity towards active sustainable transport in urban areas – Experiences from local actions in Finland
2022
Recent research has recognised cycling and walking (active transport) as substantial elements contributing to sustainable mobility and public health challenges. There is less knowledge available on the integrated contributions of local-level governance processes and practical implementation of active transport promotion activities. To illustrate comprehensively the contributions of local-level activities, we defined a framework presenting transformative capacity towards active sustainable transport. The framework presents the essential elements and criteria in assessing the level of contributions towards active and sustainable mobility. Previous literature and a case study in six Finnish mu…
