Purpose Oncofertility focuses on providing fertility and endocrine-sparing options to patients who undergo life-preserving but gonadotoxic cancer treatment. The resources needed to meet patient demand often are fragmented along disciplinary lines. We quantify assets and gaps in oncofertility care on a global scale. Cemiplimab for locally advanced and metastatic cutaneous squamous-cell carcinomas: Real-life experience from the French CAREPI study group

Although cemiplimab has been approved for locally advanced (la) and metastatic (m) cutaneous squamous-cell carcinomas (CSCCs), its real-life value has not yet been demonstrated. An early-access program enrolled patients with la/mCSCCs to receive cemiplimab. Endpoints were best overall response rate (BOR), progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), duration of response (DOR) and safety. The 245 patients (mean age 77 years, 73% male, 49% prior systemic treatment, 24% immunocompromised, 27% Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status (PS) ≥ 2) had laCSCCs (35%) or mCSCCs (65%). Background Given the high and growing prevalence of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and the intensity of this population's care needs, it is imperative that healthcare systems increase their capacity to effectively serve people living with dementia (PLwD). The Obernai ’Neuen Brunnen’ necropolis in Lower Alsace yielded 29 tombs attributed to the Middle Neolithic. It was probably founded during the Early Grossgartach, at the end of the 48th century BC, and abandoned during the Roessen, perhaps during the Early Roessen, and in any case before the middle of the 46th century BC. The most original feature of this mortuary assemblage is that most of the tombs belong to the Planig-Friedberg period (the last stylistic phase of the Grossgartach) and the Roessen. Abstract The effects of guanfacine have been studied on guinea-pig isolated atria and diethylstilboestrol-treated rat isolated uterus to determine whether it possesses histamine-like activity. Guanfacine produced a concentration-dependent negative chronotropic effect which was not modified by ranitidine (0.1 μM). In rat isolated uterus contracted by KCl, clonidine (5–5000 μM) produced concentration-dependent relaxation which was blocked by ranitidine (0.1 μM), but guanfacine only produced relaxation at high concentrations (100–1000 μM), and this was not affected by ranitidine (0.1 μM).
