Difusión internacional de los trabajos publicados en revistas biomédicas españolas. Un estudio cuantitativo del período 1980-1986

Se investiga la proporción de trabajoa publicados en revistas biomédicas españolas y difundidos a través de MEDLARS, EMBASE, BIOSIS y SCISEARCH entre 1980 y 1986. Los resultados, se expresan mediante un indice de difusión {ID) aplicado a revistas y áreas temáticas. Sólo la quinta parte de loa trabajos publicados entre 1980 y 1986 por revistas biomédicas españolas se ha difundido internacionalmente (ID = 0.19). Además, el ID ha descendido desde 1980 (ID = 0.23) a 1986 (ID = 0.18). Sólo 4 publicaciones cuentan con un ID > 0.70 y otras cuatro con ID > 0.60 a lo largo del periodo. In this article the author explores the early development of the identity as a writer of a Finnish-speaking poet Lovisa (or Isa) Asp (1853–1872). She wrote her lyrics in the Finnish language in the 1870s, and she is regarded as the first 19th-century female Finnish poet (whose works were published in Finnish). She began writing poetry (initially in Swedish) as a teenager and started her literary career as a contributor to children’s magazines. One of Agder University Librarys goals is to support teaching and research at the University of Agder (UoA). To do so, the library should be involved in research projects and offer the right products at the right time. The spring of 2012 a survey was conducted among researchers (academic staff and Ph.D.-students) at the faculty of humanities and education at UoA as well as the library staff. Certain advantages of Scopus compare with Web of Science in a bibliometric analysis related to smoking

El objetivo de este trabajo es comparar entre Web of Science (WoS) y Scopus los indicadores bibliométricos básicos del área de tabaquismo de autores españoles en el período 2000-2009. Métodos: La búsqueda se realizó en el SCI-Expanded y Scopus (“smok*” OR “tobac*”). Resultados: La media total anual del nº de documentos fue de 41 ± 12 para WoS vs 60 ± 16 en Scopus (p = 0,007). Aumento progresivo del índice de colaboración. La media anual del índice de colaboración fue de 9,41 ± 2,73 en WoS vs 7,12 ± 1,52 en Scopus (p = 0,029).
