For soft lithography, the conventional negative tone resists, such as SU-8, that are used to create the mold have a number of drawbacks. PMMA, which is normally used as a positive tone resist, can be used as a negative resist by using high-fluence irradiation conditions. In this report, we outline optimization of the irradiation conditions for PMMA thin films using 2MeV H^+ ions to exploit their ability to work as a negative tone resist at ion fluences above 1.0x10^1^5ionscm^-^2. The purpose of this study was to measure soluble CD14 (sCD14) molecules in the skin and in serum of patients with psoriasis. CD14 is a newly discovered cell surface marker on monocytes that is shed after cell activation. The following procedures were used: suction blisters were raised over the abdominal skin of 9 healthy control individuals and 8 patients with psoriasis. Serum of 17 healthy controls and 17 patients with psoriasis was collected. sCD14 was determined in suction blister fluid and serum by the ELISA technique. Shaping graphene with optical forging: from a single blister to complex 3D structures

Properties of graphene, such as electrical conduction and rigidity can be tuned by introducing local strain or defects into its lattice. We used optical forging, a direct laser writing method, under an inert gas atmosphere, to produce complex 3D patterns of single layer graphene. We observed bulging of graphene out of the plane due to defect induced lattice expansion. By applying low peak fluences, we obtained a 3D-shaped graphene surface without either ablating it or deforming the underlying Si/SiO2 substrate. A sealability of aluminium lidding foils against formable polymer materials of blister packages is usually achieved by a coating of aluminium with certain grammages of heat seal lacquers. To investigate influences of their thickness on quality of blister packages, lidding foils with different grammages of two lacquer types were manufactured. Sealing experiments (variation of temperature, pressure and sealing time) were performed. Sealed seam strengths were determined with mechanical tensile tests, tightness of cold form blisters were analysed by means of helium leakage tests. Angina bullosa hemorrhagica (ABH) is a rare oral disorder characterized by blood-filled bullous lesions in the oral cavity and the oropharynx in the absence of an underlying systemic, haematological or mucocutaneous condition. The presentation of the lesions is acute and located on the lining mucosa, mainly on the soft palate. Often, these lesions are single and rupture easily leaving an ulcerated area. In this study, we present 4 ABH cases in 3 women and 1 man and we discuss the main clinicopathological characteristics.
