Il contributo studia la comunicazione turistica sui social network finalizzata alla costruzione del destination marketing di una località. Attraverso il caso studio di Menfi, in Sicilia, si analizza l’azione di strategie di marketing territoriale messa in atto dall’amministrazione comunale presentando e commentando, in particolare, i dati quantitativi relativi al canale Facebook creato e gestito dal comune.
TRYPANOSOMES OF SOME FENNOSCANDIAN BIRDS

Linear measurements and derived indices of trypanosomes from species of Fennoscandian birds were compared to those reported form Trypanosoma avium, T. everetti, T. ontarioensis and T. paddae. The trypanosomes encountered in the Fennoscandian birds were identified as T. avium from Tengmalm's owl Aegolius funereus and the pied flycatcher Ficedula hypoleuca, T. everetti from the great tit Parus major and collared flycatcher F. albicollis and T. ontarioensis from the collared flycatcher; T. paddae was not seen.
Intelligibility in microbial complex systems: Wittgenstein and the score of life

Knowledge in microbiology is reaching an extreme level of diversification and complexity, which paradoxically results in a strong reduction in the intelligibility of microbial life. In our days, the “score of life” metaphor is more accurate to express the complexity of living systems than the classic “book of life.” Music and life can be represented at lower hierarchical levels by music scores and genomic sequences, and such representations have a generational influence in the reproduction of music and life. Price-Time Priority and Pro Rata Matching in an Order Book Model of Financial Markets

Using our recently introduced order book model of financial markets we analyzed two different matching principles for order allocation — price-time priority and pro rata matching. Price-time priority uses the submission timestamp which prioritizes orders in the book with the same price. The order which was entered earliest at a given price limit gets executed first. Pro rata matching is used for products with low intraday volatility of best bid and best ask price. Pro rata matching ensures constant access for orders of all sizes. We demonstrate how a multiagent-based model of financial market can be used to study microscopic aspects of order books.

Celem artykułu jest analiza funkcjonowania Państwa Islamskiego w ujęciu prestiżowego angielskiego dwutygodnika „London Review of Books”. Tekst składa się z czterech części. Najpierw omawia się okoliczności narastania zjawiska sunnickiego dżihadyzmu w Iraku po kierowanej przez Stany Zjednoczone inwazji w 2003 r. Następnie zwraca się uwagę na relacje reżimu partii Baas w Syrii z sunnickimi ekstremistami. W kolejnej części zaś na kwestię użycia broni chemicznej w Syrii w 2013 r. W ostatnim rozdziale opisano dwuznaczną rolę Turcji w konfliktach w Iraku i Syrii. W podsumowaniu zawarto wnioski z rozważań.

Celem tekstu jest zapoznanie czytelnika z problematyką posługiwania się przez grupy terrorystyczne nowymi technologiami informacyjnymi i komunikacyjnymi. Rozdział rozpoczyna się od ram, jakie Andre Gunder Frank nadał zagadnieniom terroryzmu i kontrterroryzmu. Kolejna część opisuje technologie informacyjne i komunikacyjne same w sobie, zwłaszcza w kontekście prowadzenia konkretnych polityk dotyczących nowych mediów. Następnie autor opisuje używanie Facebooka, YouTube'a i Twittera przez siejących nienawiść bliskowschodnich sunnickich kaznodziejów. O objetivo principal da pesquisa é quantificar a pressão fiscal suportada pelas empresas elétricas e de mineração que operam no Peru, no período 2010-2015, de tal forma que a existência de diferenças entre os dois setores econômicos analisados possa ser avaliada. Para este propósito, é apresentada uma descrição do setor elétrico e de mineração, bem como a evolução e influência que exercem sobre o crescimento econômico do Peru.
