In the last few years there has been an increasing attempt to find solutions on how to mitigate the environmental impacts of air travel. Behavioral change has hereby been identified as the measure with the most significant impact. One way to encourage behavioral change is the use of eco-labels. Eco-labels have, to date, received scant attention in the aviation industry, and their effect on air travel behavior is still largely unknown. Este trabajo estudia la presencia y complejidad en el tratamiento del concepto de diversidad biológica en libros de texto de educación secundaria, tanto de la obligatoria (ESO) como del bachillerato de España. Se recopilaron trabajos científicos de la «comunidad de expertos» con el objetivo de definir el ámbito conceptual de la biodiversidad, que actúa de vigilante epistemológico en el proceso de transposición didáctica. From OECD PISA Science test results presented in 2016 shows that in Latvia only 3,4% of students performance is in accordance to the 5th and 6th performance level (higher order cognitive skills (HOCS) measured), which is below OECD average. A new arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal species, Diversispora valentina, is described and illustrated. In the field, this species is associated with marine dunes located along the Mediterranean coast in eastern Spain. Spores of D. valentina occurred in sporocarps, in clusters, and singly in the soil or inside the roots of Ammophila arenaria (Poaceae), Elymus farctus (Poaceae), Otanthus maritimus (Asteraceae), and Echinophora spinosa (Apiaceae) in the six locations studied. A single-species culture of D. valentina was obtained using Trifolium repens as a host plant. Zestawienie erudycyjnych treści z zakresu historii naturalnej z fragmentami dzieł Mikołaja Reja i Marcina Bielskiego przynosi interesujące spostrzeżenia. Powszechnie wiadomo, że uniwersalny charakter symboliki orła jako emblematu władzy w kulturze staropolskiej zajmował wyjątkowe miejsce w heraldycznym zwierzyńcu.
