Niniejszy tekst przedstawia wyniki analizy jakościowej i ilościowej wybranych materiałów edukacyjnych (podręczniki do nauki języka angielskiego). Analiza, dokonana przy użyciu aparatu pojęciowego pedagogiki krytycznej, dotyczyła sposobu prezentacji kwestii związanych z etnicznością, a jej celem była ocena badanego materiału pod kątem wzmacniania bądź minimalizowania stereotypów etnicznych oraz stopnia, w jakim podejście autorów/ek nacechowane jest podejściem europocentrycznym. W konkluzji pracy autorka zaznacza tendencję do przedstawiania w wybranych podręcznikach etniczności w sposób uproszczony i stereotypowy, co może zakłócać proces nabywania umiejętności międzykulturowych.

("Everything Is Easy!") on ways of meeting the challenges related to teaching the Russian language at the initial stage. In particular, it involves the introduction of the Russian alphabet, ways of explaining assignments, monitoring achievements and evaluation, as well as the presentation of cross-cultural materials.

Ein hervorstechendes Merkmal der Musik des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts ist die Verwendung von praexistenter Musik als Grundlage oder Ausgangspunkt einer neuen Komposition. Solche Werke lassen sich anhand zweier grundsatzlich unterschiedlicher Herangehensweisen unterscheiden, die jeweils eigene kompositionstechnische Probleme nach sich ziehen: Einerseits finden sich Kompositionen, die auf additiven Prozessen und kontrapunktisch anspruchsvollen Strukturen wie Kanons basieren, andererseits solche, in denen eine meist mehrstimmige Vorlage fragmentiert und ihre Bestandteile zu einer neuen Komposition rekombiniert werden. International audience; Research has reported on the difficulties engineering students face in relating the content of their mathematics courses to what is taught in their professional courses. One way to address these difficulties is by better understanding how mathematical notions are used in professional engineering courses. Artykuł jest próbą interpretacji dzieł Mikołaja Reja i Marcina Bielskiego w kategoriach encyklopedycznego teatru. Taka konstrukcja stanowi odwzorowanie obrazu ówczesnego świata. Można mówić o zgodności między uczonymi treściami a wielką machiną theatrum mundi, którego struktury, relacje i zakres sprawnie funkcjonują w zamkniętym dyskursie literackich utworów. „Krotochwila ludzka” staje się więc miejscem zmagań człowieka z własnymi słabościami i losem. Heterocyclic aromatic amines (HAAs) can be formed during the cooking of meat and fish at elevated temperatures and are associated with an increased risk for cancer. On the other hand, epidemiological findings suggest that foods rich in fruits and vegetables can protect against cancer. In the present study three teas, two wines, and the juices of 15 fruits and 11 vegetables were investigated for their protective effect against the genotoxic effects of 2-amino-3-methylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoline (IQ) and 2-amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo[4,5-b]pyridine (PhIP).
