This paper deals about the changes happened in the procession of the Corpus Christi in Seville. We have news of that from 1363, and along the following centuries, but the most interesting is the way the procession is represented by two series of drawings one from 1747, and the other from 1866. This two series allow us to see the differences between them, that were due mainly to the politic, social, and religious changes. This article is based on an unpublished contract signed in 1539 by Vicente and Juan Macip for an altarpiece for the Valencian Brotherhood of the Blood of Christ. The agreement stipulates that Juan, later known as Juan de Juanes, had to paint the scenes. Thus the document reinforces the hypothesis that Juan Macip was the most important painter in the Macip workshop during the 1530’s. It also fills a documental void in between the completion of the Silversmith’s Guild altarpiece (1534-1539) and the contract for the Fuente la Higuera altarpiece (1548). Współczesny Kościół nawołuje wszystkich wiernych do podjęcia mentalnego nawrócenia, które ma polegać na uświadomieniu sobie na nowo swojej tożsamości i wypływającego z niej posłania do dzieła ewangelizacji. Jednym ze sposobów pastoralnego nawrócenia jest podjęcie pięciu kroków, które symbolizuje pierwszych pięć liter alfabetu: A, B, C, D, E. Aby stać się autentycznym ewangelizatorem, należy najpierw adorować Boga, modlić się, następnie być dla ludzi bratem i siostrą, starać się praktykować chrześcijańską caritas (miłość) i czuć się uczniem Jezusa. Dopiero wtedy, gdy te kroki będą podjęte, osoba wierząca stanie się z pomocą łaski Bożej autentycznym ewangelizatorem.

After the patrimonial destruction that took place during the Civil War of 1936-1939 in the city of Cartagena, religious art and especially sacred sculpture, is greatly affected. The artistic expressions that the Passionist entities took to the streets on the days of Holy Week, disappear almost in their entirety, having to start a tremendously costly reconstruction process in order to alleviate the losses suffered. The Cofradía California commissioned the renovation of its sculptural patrimony heritage, which came to replace the wealth of the works of Salzillo, to the Valencian artist Mariano Benlliure Gil.
