Background Eruption of an impacted mandibular third molar (3MM) is often unpredictable. The objective of this study was to establish the radiographic parameters of migration in patients whose 3MMs evolved unpredictably. Material and Methods This was a retrospective observational study. Patients with unusual 3MM migration (away from their physiological eruption position with changes in the longitudinal and horizontal axes) and with at least two panoramic radiographs were included. Abstract Background Adverse childhood events have a lasting impact on mental health. Studies on patients with pedophilia focus on traumatic events as sexual abuse in their childhood, in which further childhood maltreatment is rarely described. Aim In addition to previous studies on patients with pedophilia that focus on traumatic events as sexual abuse, we further investigate different types of childhood maltreatment. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot nozīmi testu izveidē, kas ir balstīti uz akadēmisko vārdu sarakstiem, lai novērtēt akadēmisko vārdu zināšanas studējošiem, kas mācās angļu valodu, piemērojot tulkošanu, analizējot kvantitatīvos datus, kas tika savākti no studējošo atsauksmēm. Pētījums sniedz teorētisko informāciju par akadēmiskiem vārdiem un akadēmisko vārdu sarakstiem un irbalstīts uz tādiem autoriem, ka Nation, Stubbs, Schmitt un citiem. Diplomdarbā tika apskatīti Beijesa statistikas un izdzīvošanas analīzes pamati, sīkāk apskatot izdzīvošanas analīzes parametrisko modeļu interpretāciju Beijesa statistikā. Praktiskajā daļa tika aprakstīts Hamiltona Monte Karlo algoritms un Stan programmatūra. Papildus tika izpētītas iespējas praktiski pielietot Beijesa statistikas metodes reāliem un simulētiem izdzīvošanas datiem.
