The Dictionary reviewed has filled a lacuna in Russian lexicography, presenting the vocabulary of Orthodoxy as a natural component of the modern Russian language that functions not only in the religious sphere, but also in the everyday lives of Russians. The analysis of the Dictionary is preceded by a short essay on the lexicographic sources describing the vocabulary of Orthodoxy and on the ideological deformation of the religious subsystem of vocabulary during totalitarianism. Religious vocabulary covers a very wide area and includes numerous thematic blocks. From the lexicographer's point of view, it can be divided into two groups. The first is popular words often used in everyday life, and the second group in this conditional classification covers terminological religious vocabulary of a thematic nature, ranging from purely material, subject, cult concepts, and ending with philosophical and theological concepts. In the context of ongoing research, the author is interested in the specifics of translation and lexicographic description of eortonyms.

A comparative investigation on the acute phototoxicity of retene to vendace (Coregonus albula) and whitefish (C. lavaretus), both having pelagial larvae in spring, was conducted. To test the concept of early warning of sublethal biomarkers in relation to lethality to posthatch stages, we examined the effects of ultraviolet-B (UV-B) and retene on the levels of cytochrome P4501A (CYP1A) and heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) by exposing the animals to elevated levels of these factors for 48 and 72 h, respectively. The aim of this study is to investigate the presence of condylar and ramal asymmetry in patients with a cyst larger than 10 mm in the maxilla or mandible. Condylar and ramal asymmetry index measurements of 47 patients (mean age: 28.85 ± 15.348) in the study group and 40 patients in the control group (mean age: 33.73 ± 13.095) were performed using panoramic radiographs. Tiivistelmä – Abstract Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää yläkoulun oppilaiden ja opettajien mielipiteitä sanaston oppimiseen suunnatuista tehtävistä; millaiset tehtävät heidän mielestään sopivat sanaston oppimiseen yläkoulussa. Samalla selvitettiin sanaston oppimista koulun ulkopuolella sekä sanaston oppimiseen käytettyä aikaa. Oppilaiden ja opettajien mielipiteitä verrattiin toisiinsa. Investigating the Structure of Vela X

Vela X is the prototypical example of a pulsar wind nebula whose morphology and detailed structure have been affected by the interaction with the reverse shock of its host supernova remnant. The resulting complex of filamentary structure and mixed-in ejecta embedded in a nebula that is offset from the pulsar provides the best example we have of this middle-age state that characterizes a significant fraction of composite SNRs, and perhaps all of the large-diameter PWNe seen as TeV sources.
