Abstract Introduction Tympanic retraction is a condition characterized by the displacement of the tympanic membrane toward the structures of the middle ear. Clinically, tympanic retractions can lead to hearing loss, ear discharge and/or ear pain. In most of the cases, however, tympanic retractions are asymptomatic and are found accidentally during an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) examination. The work shows the results of testing conducted from last years with the GNNS CORS of University of Palermo, in term of radio frequency interference, by a team composed of researchers of Dipartimento di Rappresentazione (DIRAP), Faculty of Engineering of Palermo and to the Laboratory of Physics of the Agenzia Regionale per la Protezione dell’Ambiente (ARPA) of the Sicilian Region. [EN] Floods are a consequence of extreme rainfall events. Although surface runoff generation is the origin of discharge, flood research usually focuses on lowlands where the impact is higher. Runoff and sediment delivery at slope and pedon scale receiving much less attention in the effort to understand flood behaviour in time and space.
