During the government of Augustus the city of Sagunto was transformed in a place symbol of modernity. It is no coincidence that the necessary developing infrastructures were consolidated around it for an optimal development: higher quality viae or better port platforms. Different type of streets emerged following an order of importance depending many times on the wealth of their users. Towards the exit of the city burial monuments were placed honoring relevant citizens. As many other major towns of Hispania, Saguntum is not an exception of great transformations.

What was at stake was dominance over Sicily. The article traces the stages of the conquest of the island from 264 BC to 210 BC.

Rosenberg's self-esteem scale (RSES) has been applied in many areas of psychology, highlighting the interest in the study of gender differences and educational level. At the same time, there was a methodological debate on its psychometric properties. Evidence points at a scale measuring a single trait confounded by a method factor associated to negatively worded items. Il lavoro condotto ha affrontato le problematiche connesse con le fasi di acquisizione e elaborazione dei dati ottenuti da SAPR con la finalità di dimostrare il grande potenziale di questi sistemi per la fotogrammetria aerea di prossimità. Il lavoro ha previsto lo studio delle principali problematiche attraverso prove sperimentali condotte durante le fasi del rilievo del sito archeologico di Eraclea Minoa (Agrigento). In particolare, i dati acquisiti hanno permesso di analizzare in dettaglio le procedure di pianificazione ed esecuzione di voli e le procedure di orientamento in relazione anche alle metodologie di rilievo dei punti di appoggio.
