Il contributo è dedicato a Ugo Zovetti (Curzola, 1879 - Milano, 1974), figura poliedrica di grande interesse che ha attraversato con originalità le arti del XX secolo distinguendosi tra i protagonisti della decorazione del libro come autore di pregevoli carte decorate. Ugo Zovetti fu un esponente della Secessione Viennese che ebbe larga parte nella diffusione del gusto secessionista e della Wiener Werkstätte in Italia, dove si affermò nel campo della decorazione durante gli anni dedicati all’insegnamento nella sede dell’ISIA di Monza. IL (interleukin)-1β plays an important role in cartilage extracellular matrix degradation and bone resorption in OA (osteoarthritis) through the induction of degradative enzymes and pro-inflammatory mediators. In the present study, we have determined the consequences of HO-1 (haem oxygenase-1) induction on markers of inflammation and senescence in the functional unit cartilage–subchondral bone stimulated with IL-1β. Cartilage–subchondral bone specimens were obtained from the knees of osteoarthritic patients. Objective The adamalysin metalloproteinase 15 (ADAM15) has been shown to protect against development of osteoarthritis in mice. Here, we have investigated factors that control ADAM15 levels in cartilage. Design Secretomes from wild-type and Adam15−/− chondrocytes were compared by label-free quantitative mass spectrometry. mRNA was isolated from murine knee joints, either with or without surgical induction of osteoarthritis on male C57BL/6 mice, and the expression of Adam15 and other related genes quantified by RT-qPCR. In this paper the theoretic and practical points of view about the applications of the modern digital airborne sensors in the photogrammetry and remote sensing fields are described. The first part of the paper describes the theoretic matter, the second one shows the first results regarding the carried out elaborations on an image of Palermo acquired by digital airborne sensor LH System ADS40. Besides the research has examined most of sides regarding the trilinear sensor and it has highlighted the capabilities and limitations respect to the traditional analogical system and the matricial CCD sensor.

In questo contributo si pone in evidenza il carattere ancillare della funzione del Consiglio di sicurezza di garanzia dell’esecuzione delle sentenze della Corte rispetto alla funzione di mantenimento della pace e della sicurezza internazionali e ci si sofferma su alcuni meccanismi alternativi di garanzia del rispetto delle sentenze della Corte formatisi nella prassi. Sono in particolare considerati separatamente, da un lato, meccanismi incentrati su organi politici dell’ONU e, da un altro lato, meccanismi a disposizione della Corte stessa.

Vitamin A and its congeners, collectively called retinoids, are known to have teratogenic potential and have induced craniofacial and limb malformations in numerous animal species. More importantly, retinoids are recognized as teratogenic to fetuses of pregnant women who have taken such preparations for dermatologic disorders. Information gathered from the study of animal models suggests that retinoids interfere with cartilage differentiation. If chondrogenesis in limb development is disturbed it may contribute to limb reductions and malformations. In the last few decades, the use of GNSS Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) networks allowed improving the accuracy of real-time positioning and post-processing positioning.
