Ievads: Šī literatūras pārskata mērķis ir aprakstīt faktorus, kuri literatūrā minēti kā ietekmējoši ortodontiskās ārstēšanas ilgumu. Pārskata hipotēze bija tāda, ka ilgāks ārstēšanas laiks ir saistīts ar sarežģītāku diagnozi. Metodes: Šajā pārskatā tika izmantoti 133 literatūras avoti angļu valodā no 1945. līdz 2021. gadam, iesaistot bērnus, pusaudžus un pieaugušos pacientus.
