Herein, we report a case of stent thrombosis in diabetic obese patient COVID-19 positive where was previously released a Multilayer Flow Modulator stent (MFM) for large popliteal aneurysm. Highlights • We describe a case report of giant renal cell chromophobe carcinoma totally treated by laparoscopic surgery. • The size of renal lesion represents a critical point in surgical approach because to perform a laparoscopic radical nephrectomy can be challenging even for skilled surgeons in giant renal tumors. • A brief review of literature was performed to identify outcomes and potentially surgical advantages of laparoscopic approach for retroperitoenal liposarcoma. • The possibility of the laparoscopic approach derives from from the preoperative identification of adipose cleavage, from the absence of invasion of major vascular axes, from the absence of distant metastatic lesions.
Accidental displacement of a dental implant into the sublingual space: A Case report

Dental implant surgery is continuously expanding. In fact, every day more and more surgeons are choosing dental implants for allowing great results in the field of oral rehabilitation. However, these procedures are not exempt from complications. This report presents the case of a 66 years old man underwent implant surgery by a specialized dentist. No problems were reported during implant placement. Despite this, three months later, it was displaced into the sublingual space at the time of uncovering. Central odontogenic fibroma (COF) is a rare benign odontogenic tumor derived from the dental ectomesenchymal tissues. A 16-year-old Caucasian female patient was referred by her dentist for a radiolucent asymptomatic area associated with the crown of the impacted lower right third molar. A preliminary diagnosis of a follicular cyst was supposed. The lesion was surgically removed under general anesthesia together with the impacted tooth. Introduction Inappropriate insulin secretion could be due to several diseases. Nesidioblastosis is characterized by diffuse hyperplasia of pancreatic beta cells, causing organic hypoglycemia. No pancreatic lesions are found on the imaging of patients with this condition. Diazoxide is used as a first-line treatment but can be poorly tolerated because of its side effects, and therapeutic failure is possible. Massive arterivenous malformations (AVM) in the cervico-facial area are rare but potentially life-threatening. Treatment protocols are not well-established. A 41-year old man presented large painless rubber-like mass within the entire neck, which also extended intraorally through the floor of the mouth, showing a slow growing pattern for 5 years. Abstract Introduction Caesarean section is the most common abdominal surgery performed on women worldwide. Adhesions represent a severe complication of cesarean section and can cause different degrees of bowel obstruction. Case reports We report two unusual cases of small bowel obstruction treated with laparoscopic approach after caesarean section performed for gynecological pathologies.
