Abstract Applying the electric hybrid technique on the off-road vehicle is one popular method to reduce the fuel consumption. However, the high cost, low energy conversion efficiency and disposal of used batteries are still the main problems. This paper is focusing on one alternative choice which is hydraulic hybrid off-road vehicles. Among the most typical off-road vehicles, the excavator is chosen as the prototype to study the control strategy. La necrópolis occidental de la Valencia romana

Ubicada en una pequeña elevación del terreno y junto a uno de los principales ejes viarios de la ciudad (calle Cavallers/Quart), prolongación del decumanus maximus, se localiza la necrópolis occidental de Valentia. Cronológicamente abarca desde mediados del siglo I a.C. hasta el siglo III-IV d.C. Hay que destacar que la práctica de la inhumación es anterior a la incineración y casi exclusiva, en contra de la tendencia predominante. Este hecho lo hemos puesto en relación con la raíz centro-itálica de los fundadores de Valentia y el mantenimiento de sus tradiciones de origen.

The project ¿Harvesting Memories: Ecology and Archaeology of Monti Sicani landscapes¿ aims to analyse the long-term relationship of landscape dynamics and settlement patterns in a Mediterranean inland of Central-Western Sicily. En aquest article estudiem les excavacions arqueològiques realitzades pel canonge M. Alcayde y Gil en els anys 1844-46 a la població de Begís (l'Alt Palància, Castelló). La troballa d'una tomba en un lloc d'on es coneixien diverses inscripcions funeràries el va impulsar a excavar les restes d'una vil·la romana, en les quals va poder identificar un monument funerari i un mosaic que poden datar-se en el segle II dE. Es tracta de la primera actuació arqueològica que es va fer sota la tutela de la Comissió Provincial de Monuments de Castelló, que coneixem a través de la documentació d'aquesta institució.
