Purpose: To survey risk-reducing hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (BSO) practice and advice regarding hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in women with Lynch syndrome. Methods: We conducted a survey in 31 contributing centers from the Prospective Lynch Syndrome Database (PLSD), which incorporates 18 countries worldwide. The survey covered local policies for risk-reducing hysterectomy and BSO in Lynch syndrome, the timing when these measures are offered, the involvement of stakeholders and advice regarding HRT. In 2011, an archaeological evaluation was carried out in the centre of the Roman city of Augustodunum (Autun) on a plot of over 1 ha. This operation afforded the opportunity to explore parts of two insulae along the main street, the so-called cardo maximus, an area that has benefited from recent advances in knowledge. Tutkimuksessa informantit arvioivat 10 puheensuoritusta, jotka oli toteu-tettu Yleisen kielitutkinnon (YKI) puitteissa. Puhetaidon arvioinnin yhteneväisyyden tutkiminen toteutettiin vertaamalla YKI-arvioijien ja informanttien arviointien yhtäläisyyttä. Redesign of a Reverse Shoulder Prosthesis: Kinematic and Mechanical Study

In this work a commercial reverse shoulder prosthesis has been redesigned to improve performances in terms of range of movements of the implant and stability to dislocation. A kinematic and mechanic study has been performed using a realistic solid model of the prothesised shoulder: in particular, all the components of the prosthesis have been acquired via a 3D laser scanner and inserted in a virtual humerus-glenoid system by reproducing the common surgical procedure.
