Un elevado número de profesionales sitúan la adicción a las drogas como objeto de su análisis. Obligados a actualizar permanentemente sus conocimientos para la correcta ejecución de las actuaciones en las que participan, se encuentran con el problema básico de acceder a un ingente volumen de documentación. Y para ello cuentan con muy poco tiempo disponible. De ahí la necesidad de acudir a las diversas fuentes de información sobre drogodependencias: Centros de documentación y bibliotecas, páginas web, y revistas científicas y bases de datos bibliográficas.

Nell’AMP ”Isola di Ustica” l'instaurazione del regime di protezione, e quindi del divieto di prelievo, ha provocato un aumento della densità del riccio edule Paracentrotus lividus (Lam.) con conseguenze negative sulle comunità algali. L’intenso pascolo di questi echinidi regolari ha infatti trasformato la fascia superficiale sommersa in un barren ground, area a bassa complessità e diversità. Prior to starting up the University of Valencia's (UV) institutional repository, we assessed this institution's real output of periodical publications and drew up the most comprehensive list possible. We also described the visibility of the contents on the Internet. -- Method. We searched the ISSN database and the UV's library catalogue for journals in which the UV is included in the statement of responsibility. -- Results. These two sources did not provide sufficient information, as the University was not listed in all the relevant journals as a publishing entity. ObjectiveTo describe a large series of BIN1 patients, in which a novel founder mutation in the Roma population of southern Spain has been identified.MethodsPatients diagnosed with centronuclear myopathy (CNM) at 5 major reference centers for neuromuscular disease in Spain (n = 53) were screened for BIN1 mutations. Ionising radiation, with the contribution of telomere shortening, induces DNA double-strand breaks that result in chromosome end fusion, nucleoplasmic bridges (NPBs) and chromosome aberrations (ChAbs) as well as dicentric chromosomes. In order to investigate the chromosomal damage induced by occupational ionising radiation at low exposure levels, and to find early markers of health hazard, peripheral lymphocytes of occupationally exposed hospital workers were cytogenetically analysed. Dynamin 2 has recently been recognized as a causative gene for the autosomal dominant form of centronuclear myopathy (dominant centronuclear myopathy). Here we report an affected father and daughter with dynamin 2 related AD CNM with predominantly distal onset of weakness. In addition to the diagnostic central location of myonuclei the muscle biopsy also showed core-like structures.
