Background: There are different reports in the literature how often postoperative hemorrhage occurs after laser resection of head-and-neck tumours. This retrospective study investigates the frequency of postoperative hemorrhage after laser surgery of head and neck tumours. Sodium butyrate with UCN-01 has marked antitumour activity against cervical cancer cells.

The effect of combining sodium butyrate (NaB), a histone deacetylase inhibitor, and 7-hydroxy-staurosporine (UCN-01) on cytotoxicity in human cervical carcinoma cells was evaluated.HeLa and CaSki cells were treated using NaB alone or in combination with staurosporine (STS) or its analog UCN-01. Cytotoxicity was determined by flow cytometry and morphological assays. Apoptotic pathways were characterized by Western blotting and immunostaining. Abstract Objective: To determine the head posture and cephalometric characteristics in oral breathing children. Materials and Methods: Lateral cephalograms taken in natural head posture of 35 oral breathing patients (OB) (mean age 8.8 ± 2.2 years SD; range 5–13 years) and of 35 patients with varied malocclusions and physiological breathing (PB) (mean age 9.7 ± 1.6 years SD; range 7–13 years) were examined. Hirayama disease (HD) is a rare, benign, and nonprogressive motor neuron disease (MND) affecting the upper limbs.
