À partir de l’enquête SRCV (Statistiques sur les Ressources et les Conditions de Vie), cet article se propose de décrire comment les séparations conjugales viennent renforcer les inégalités d’accession à la propriété entre hommes et femmes. Avant la rupture, les femmes ont des carrières moins rémunératrices que leur conjoint. Ces inégalités se creusent après la séparation, d’autant plus que les femmes ont davantage la garde des enfants. Elles ont donc des niveaux de vie plus faibles et des situations professionnelles plus précaires, leur permettant moins souvent de rester propriétaires. This paper considers the problem of administrative capacity as one of the main requirements that the accession countries seeking EU membership had to meet, and as a prerequisite to the decentralization of their public sectors and public finances. The selected decentralization problems are analyzed using the cases of two countries: Romania and Poland. Changing Economic Conditions and Identity Formation in Adulthood

Identity formation in political and occupational domains was examined from young to middle adulthood based on an ongoing longitudinal study. In addition to the participants’ identity status (diffused, moratorium, foreclosed, achieved), we assessed their perceived importance of politics, future orientation, and career stability four times in adulthood, at ages 27, 36, 42, and 50. The number of participants varied between analyses, from 168 to 291. Changes in the economic situation in Finland from 1986 to 2009 provided a context for the study. Search for Axionlike Dark Matter through Nuclear Spin Precession in Electric and Magnetic Fields

We report on a search for ultralow-mass axionlike dark matter by analyzing the ratio of the spinprecession frequencies of stored ultracold neutrons and 199Hg atoms for an axion-induced oscillating electric dipole moment of the neutron and an axion-wind spin-precession effect. No signal consistent with dark matter is observed for the axion mass range 10−24 ≤ ma ≤ 10−17 eV. Our null result sets the first laboratory constraints on the coupling of axion dark matter to gluons, which improve on astrophysical limits by up to 3 orders of magnitude, and also improves on previous laboratory constraints on the axion coupling to nucleons by up to a factor of 40. ispartof: Physical Review X vol:7 issue:…

Composition and biological activities of the essential oil from a Sicilian accession of Prangos ferulacea (L.) Lindl

Prangos ferulacea (L.) Lindl. (Fam. Apiaceae), is an orophilous species of eastern Mediterranean and western Asia which possesses several biological properties, which are worthy of exploitation in different fields. With the aim to provide new insights into the phytochemistry and pharmacology of this species, a local accession growing in Sicily (South Italy) was investigated as well. Notably, the P. ferulacea essential oil chemical composition and the antioxidant, anti-acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and cytotoxic activities have been studied.
