A recent study on the Trajan's arch at Leptis Magna mentions a second arch of Tiberius, along a street which runs parallel to the main cardo, where the more famous “twin” of this arch is located. The study also mentions a structure, an arch as well, posed at the same place where the tetrapyle of Trajan was erected. This contribution challenges the idea of the existence of a one-size-fits-all rule that always prohibits or permits outside forcible intervention upon the request of a government engaged in a civil war. Civil wars are complex situations. It seems quite unrealistic to make abstractions of the “topography” of the conflict between the legal principles concretely at stake in each case. Trudne historyczne wydarzenia związane z pojawieniem się reformacji na ziemi bralińsko-kępińskiej były przyczyną wielu cierpień i uprzedzeń. Kościoły katolicki i ewangelicki zwalczały się nawzajem, zamykały świątynie, wypędzały duchownych. Taki stan rzeczy istniał do doświadczenia klęski żywiołowej związanej z dwukrotnym całkowitym pożarem miasteczka Bralin w latach 1807 i 1808. To doświadczenie wspólnego cierpienia doprowadziło do zorganizowania przez ocalałych z pożarów wiernych Kościoła Rzymskokatolickiego i Ewangelicko-Augsburskiego procesji suplikacyjnej.
