Gingival recession: prevalence and risk indicators among young greek adults
2014
Objectives: The aim of the current research was to assess the prevalence of gingival recession and to investigate possible associations among this condition, periodontal and epidemiological variables in a sample of young Greek adults in a general dental practice. Material and Methods: A total of 1,430 young adults was examined clinically and interviewed regarding several periodontal and epidemiological variables. Collected data included demographic variables, oral hygiene habits and smoking status. Clinical examination included the recording of dental plaque, supragingival calculus presence, gingival status and buccal gingival recession. Multivariate logistic regression analysis model was p…
Post-orthodontic position of lower incisors and gingival recession: A retrospective study
2017
Background To evaluate if changes in lower incisor position following orthodontic treatment are correlated with development of gingival recessions. Material and methods Pre- and post-treatment digital models and lateral cephalograms of 22 subjects were collected retrospectively. The clinical crown length, gingival scallop, and papilla height of the central lower incisor were measured along with the cephalometric incisor's inclination, the distance from the mandibular plane, and the distance between the Infradentale and Menton points. Statistical correlations between gingival and cephalometric variables were studied. In addition, two groups were defined based on the post-treatment incisor in…

il saggio analizza la nuova disciplina della mobilità volontaria all'esito delle modifiche apportate all'art. 30, d.lgs. n. 165/2001, dal Decreto Reclutamento (d.l. n. 80/2021, conv. dalla l. n. 113/2021) e dal Decreto PNRR2 (d.l. n. 36/2022, conv. dalla l. n. 79/2022).
Molecular Spintronic Devices: from Molecular Spin Valves to Spin-OLEDs
2017

2015
It is traditionally maintained that international law neither prohibits nor authorizes secession. This affirmation still maintains much of its validity despite recent attempts to demonstrate the emergence of a prohibition to secede hinged on the respect due to peremptory norms of international law or on the extension of the subjective scope of the principle of territorial integrity towards secessionist groups. On the other hand, the idea of the existence of a right to remedial secession does not yet correspond to positive international law. However, the fact that international law neither prohibits nor authorizes separation does not imply that secession is totally unregulated. Firstly, inte…
