AbstractChange is a constant element of online games, and Overwatch as well as its playable characters have been through multiple changes since the launch of the game in 2016. In this chapter, we examine the relationships players have with the playable characters of Overwatch and specifically the role that character mechanics have in these relationships. Changes to game characters are a topic of avid discussion in Overwatch communities and evoke articulations of the meaning of game characters for the players.

Broad bean wilt virus 1 (BBWV-1) is the type member of the Fabavirus genus, in the Secoviridae family. BBWV-1 is worldwide distributed and infects important horticultural and ornamental crops causing considerable economic losses. However, information about the biological and molecular characteristics of BBWV-1 isolates is scarce. BBWV-1 is composed of two molecules of positive single-stranded RNA (ssRNA+) that are separately encapsidated in virions of icosahedral morphology. In the present study, we examine the role of age as a moderating effect of this relationship using life-span development theory. This study contributes to the literature on the supervisors’ role in employee well-being by drawing on two separate lines of research: transformational leadership and organizational justice. The purpose of the study was to investigate the unique contributions of transformational and fair leadership (justice behaviours of supervisors) on work engagement and exhaustion among employees within the framework of the Job Demands-Resources model (Bakker and Demerouti, 2007).
