Orientalna wizja józefologiczna i jej wpływ na pobożność Kościoła rzymskiego

W niniejszym artykule w syntetyczny sposób ukazana została wschodnia wizja pobożnościowa związana z kultem św. Józefa. Prezentacja przykładów literatury apokryficznej oraz tekstów patrystycznych wraz z liturgicznymi elementami dotyczącymi osoby opiekuna Świętej Rodziny pozwoliły zarysować orientalną józefologię. Na tle tradycji łacińskiej jawi się ona jako uboga. Nie zmienia to jednak faktu, że pewne elementy wschodnie możemy zaobserwować w kulcie św. Józefa w Kościele zachodnim. Wystarczy tu wspomnieć chociażby zakorzeniony w świadomości i kulturze obraz św. Józefa jako starca, a także elementy pobożnościowe takie jak Akatyst ku czci św.
