The first occurrence of Diadema setosum in the southern Mediterranean waters is recorded from the shores of Libya and Egypt, through the input by citizens’ science. The expansion of this invasive sea urchin in the Mediterranean basin is briefly discussed.

The purpose of this paper is to clarify how citizen response to crises is currently being enhanced, and how it might be increased, by emergency response organisations in member states of the European Union via communication strategies and tools. Introduction to the SCIROCCO online participatory tool and its evaluation

Abstract This presentation will first introduce the SCIROCCO and SCIROCCO Exchange projects and the Maturity Model developed by the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing. Then, a demonstration will be made of the three main functionalities of the SCIROCCO tool: assessing the maturity of healthcare systems, assessing the maturity needs of good practices, twinning and coaching with its two variants.
