Genitori lesbiche e gay come soggetti situati
2012

In this article we apply the S(M, g)–calculus of L. Hormander and, in particular, results concerning the spectral invariance of the algebra of operators of order zero in ℒ(L2(ℝn)) to study generators of Feller semigroups. The core of the article is the proof of the invertibility of λ Id + P for a strongly elliptic operator P in Ψ(M, g) and suitable weight functions M and metrics g. The proof depends highly on precise estimates of the remainder term in asymptotic expansions of the product symbol in Weyl and Kohn–Nirenberg quantization. Due to the Hille–Yosida–Ray theorem and a theorem of Courrege, the result concerning the invertibility of λ Id + P is applicable to obtain sufficient conditio…
How Do French Junior Secondary Schools Operate ? Academic Achievement, Grading and Streaming of Students
1989
International audience; This paper is concerned with the operation of Junior Secondary Schools in France. Students' school careers have been analysed in three sequential and cumulative components: student progress in learning in the junior secondary school, student grading by teachers, and student streaming, i.e., admission, or not, into a general form 3. For each of the three mechanisms described above, the authors examine whether they are influenced by the schooling context, which schooling context (school and/or classroom), and which characteristics of those contexts it is relevant to consider. Finally, they focus on the process by which the large social inequalities visible after the pu…
Insegnare con la flipped classroom. Stili di apprendimento e "classe capovolta".
2016
A Neurocomputational Approach to Trained and Transitive Relations in Equivalence Classes
2017
A stimulus class can be composed of perceptually different but functionally equivalent stimuli. The relations between the stimuli that are grouped in a class can be learned or derived from other stimulus relations. If stimulus A is equivalent to B, and B is equivalent to C, then the equivalence between A and C can be derived without explicit training. In this work we propose, with a neurocomputational model, a basic learning mechanism for the formation of equivalence. We also describe how the relatedness between the members of an equivalence class is developed for both trained and derived stimulus relations. Three classic studies on stimulus equivalence are simulated covering typical and at…
From rural studies to the analysis of localized social spaces
2014
Urban society seems to have penetrated every corner of France, reducing the object of rural sociology and ethnology to nothing. These disciplines are built on a sharp rural/urban split, reserving the canonical vocabulary of sociology, such as the analysis of social class, for urban settings. Rural studies were founded on an ad hoc conceptualization borrowed from anthropology (peasant society, community, village collectivity, village interconnaissance or everyone knowing each other, notables). The radical development of contemporary rural worlds has swept this conception away. But are today’s contemporary rural worlds the exact equivalents of urban worlds? In this paper we defend the idea th…
