En esta publicación se ofrecen los primeros resultados del análisis de la producción científica de la Universitat de València para la década 2000-2009 realizado mediante la explotación de las bases de datos de la Web of Science (SCI, SSCI y A&HCI). La información está organizada en dos capítulos. El primero, dedicado a ofrecer una imagen general de la producción de la Universitat, permite apreciar el volumen de publicaciones circulantes en esas bases de datos, su crecimiento en el periodo estudiado, la tipología documental, el idioma de publicación y su clasificación temática. The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of different treatments on learning outcome, into a collaborative learning context. It was used a factorial design, consisting of two factors, each one with two categories. The first factor was to give students specific roles to play to guide the kinds of interactions and activities that students engage in, versus to allow students to make their own decisions about when and how to use the teacher instructions. The second one was to develop a simple hypertext, versus to write an extended essay. [EN]: This study analyzes the development of Spanish-Brazilian collaborative scientific production in the field of medical research between 2002 and 2011, identifying the most productive institutions, the proportion of researchers from each country and bi-lateral collaborative networks. Data were gathered from the Scopus database, which offers broad, international coverage of multidisciplinary research. A study sample of 1,121 original scientific articles signed by 13,906 researchers were retrieved, on the basis of which the annual growth rate of Spanish-Brazilian medical research was calculated. Bibliometric analysis of the Annual Review of Legal Psychology journal between 1991-2019

[EN]: The present study carries out a bibliometric analysis of Annual Review of Legal Psychology from 1991 to 2019. Data were collected from a database that allows for the analysis of authors, institutions, countries, gender, topics, and impact. The results enable us to observe gender discrepancies among authors, with a a higher frequency of women (50.2%), and the number of signatures (53.7% men). Over the years there is an increase in the number of authors and signatures, of co-authorship, a higher presence of international signatures, representing 23.5% between 2011 and 2019. Objective: This study aimed to analyze variability in rates of carpal tunnel release surgery among the healthcare areas of the autonomous region of Valencia, and to evaluate the contribution of ambulatory surgery and referrals to private hospitals to the variability found. Methods: We carried out a cross-sectional, population-based study, describing the rates of carpal tunnel release surgery, standardized by age and sex, among areas in the region of Valencia in 2006.
