Postkoloniālajā literatūrā citādības jeb alteritātes jēdziens dominē diskusijās par Rietumu imperiālisma politisko un sociālo ietekmi. Literatūras teorijā citādības jēdzienu var aplūkot no divām perspektīvām - viena ir fiziskā citādība, bet otra ir iekšēja atsvešināšanās no noteiktas grupas vai sabiedrības. Šī darba mērķis ir analizēt, kā citādība tiek attēlota Amitava Goša romānos „Magoņu jūra”, „Ēnu līnijas” un „Kalkutas hromosoma”. This paper studies the Encounter of Knowledge as a project that, by welcoming mestres and mestras of ancestral knowledge into universities, contributes to decolonize higher education, broadening its field of memory. Based on a systematization exercise, we established a theoretical dialogue with Bajtin and Bejamin. The COVID-19 pandemic exposes uncertainty, instability and glaring inequality that requires urgent global policy decisions. Historically, bureaucrats regard uncertainty as the enemy and look for tested solutions (Stevens, 2011).
