Her influence on the writer and her views seems decisive. For the latter, the literary recreation of her friend is a kind of catharsis. Beauvoir transposes the tragic story of Mabille to show the complexity of their relationship and the origin of her calling to be a writer. Through an autobiographical perspective she “resurrects” the prematurely deceased friend to rehabilitate herself and make up for her neglect. Patterns of rapid weight loss in elite wrestlers
The aim of this study was to examine the methodology used for RWL and to compare different methods and source of influence practiced by various wrestling styles. The obtained results suggest that 67% of athletes had previously lost weight to compete. The wrestling coach represents the most influential person in terms of RWL strategies. The most frequently used methods were increased exercise, gradual dieting, training in heated room and sauna, for all competitors. The education of wrestling coaches is necessary in order to control and decrease the negative impact of RWL.

Mi propósito es considerar cómo el combate tecnificado afectó la percepción que de él tuvieron principalmente los combatientes de tierra, que fueron la inmensa mayoría de los que lucharon. Pues esa percepción, como veremos distorsionada, configuró una parte fundamental de su experiencia de la contienda, en el bien entendido que la experiencia de la guerra no se reduce ni al combate ni a su percepción. Evaluation of the Administrative Phase-Out of Coal Power Plants on the Italian Electricity Market

Although decarbonisation is one of the most important macro-trends of this century, electricity generation from coal power plants is still broadly common. The main goal of this study is to evaluate the impact of a premature coal power plants phase-out on the Italian day-ahead electricity market. For this purpose, two electricity price forecasts, related to different scenarios between 2019 and 2030, and two different hypotheses for the creation of electricity spot price, were compared. The results from the different scenarios show that coal power plants phase-out determines a small variation in electricity price when bid-up is not considered
