The paper focuses on measuring and assessing the relation of adaptive maintenance process and quality of open source software (OSS). A framework for assessing adaptive maintenance process is proposed and applied. The framework consists of six sub- processes. Five OSSs with considerable number of releases have been studied empirically. Their main evolutionary and quality characteristics have been measured. Lung and cardiovascular monitoring applications of electrical impedance tomography (EIT) require localization of relevant functional structures or organs of interest within the reconstructed images. We describe an algorithm for automatic detection of heart and lung regions in a time series of EIT images. Using EIT reconstruction based on anatomical models, candidate regions are identified in the frequency domain and image-based classification techniques applied. The algorithm was validated on a set of simultaneously recorded EIT and CT data in pigs. The paper addresses issues related to Passenger Car Equivalents (PCEs) at roundabouts. Compared to other road units, the curvilinear elements of roundabout geometric design may impose greater constraints on vehicular trajectories and have a significant effect on the swept envelope of heavy vehicles. Specifically, the aim of the paper is to present the methodological approach which used traffic microsimulation to estimate PCEs. MATERIAL AND METHODS Color-coded volume rendered images were reconstructed from the volume data of 25 thoracic, abdominal, musculoskeletal, and vascular helical CT scans using commercial software. The CT volume rendered voxels were encoded with color in the following manner. Opacity, hue, lightness, and chroma were assigned to each of four classes defined by CT number. This paper proposes a 3D panoramic shape reconstruction method based on an uncalibrated stereovision system (USS) composed of five cameras circularly located around the object to be analysed. First, some interesting points are detected from markers placed on the object such that they are visible by two successive cameras of the USS. These points are then matched on both images acquired by a couple of successive cameras. This process is repeated for all the couples of cameras. Efficient correspondence problem-solving in 3-D shape reconstruction using a structured light system

This paper deals with 3-D object reconstruction using a structured light system (SLS). The SLS is composed of a camera and a laser projector that illuminates spots on the scene of interest. The basic problem of such a system is the correspondence problem. If the correct correspondence between the imaged spots and the projected laser rays is found, the 3-D coordinates of the physical points associated with these spots can be calculated. We present an algorithm for reconstruction of piece-wise planar scenes from only two views and based on minimum line correspondences. We first recover camera rotation by matching vanishing points based on the methods already exist in the literature and then recover the camera translation by searching among a family of hypothesized planes passing through one line.
