This study presents the retrofit acoustic dq1esign of the Italian theatre “Cavallino Bianco”. In its historical configuration, the hall had a curved roof with a pressed-plant fiber ceiling, which was demolished and replaced with a wooden roof without a false ceiling, leading to an increase in volume and a worsening of the reverberation time. This study proposed the realization of a wave ceiling and the application of sound-absorbing and reflecting panels on the walls, which have already been implemented. This article reviews literature on visual rhetoric in political campaigning and synthesizes several strands of current research devoted to the rhetorical potential of communicating with visuals in online environments. It uses rhetorical concepts of identification and manoeuvring, as well as the category of topos, to discuss the implications of an abductive analysis of a coded corpus of 1976 Instagram images posted during 2019 election to the European Parliament campaign in Poland. Il contributo indaga il progetto di Ernesto Basile, mai realizzato, per Palazzo Lanza dei principi di Deliella a Palermo, attraverso lo studio dei disegni originali (1895-1897). Questi consistono in 15 documenti grafici che raccolgono 5 piante, 6 prospetti e 4 viste prospettiche, che rappresentano quattro versioni di progetto con diverse soluzioni, di ognuna delle quali è possibile reperire una documentazione frammentaria e incompleta, riconducibile a tempi ideativi differenti. Questa ricerca riguarda il convento di San Domenico a Cagliari e la riforma della fabbrica attuata nel corso del Cinquecento. Fondato nel borgo di Villanova nel versante est del castello di Cagliari nella seconda metà del XIII secolo, il convento di San Domenico raggiunse la sua massima espansione a partire dagli anni sessanta del XVI secolo, in seguito probabilmente all’introduzione nel convento della riforma domenicana. Il Teatro Nord e la cinta muraria proto-bizantina di Hierapolis di Frigia (Pamukkale, Denizli, Turchia sud-occidentale) sono stati a lungo trascurati dalle attività di ricerca della Missione Archeologica Italiana, concentrata su monumenti meglio conservati e con un apparato architettonico e scultoreo più rilevante.
