In this study, we analyzed the barriers to technology-supported intergenerational innovation to understand better how young and old can collaborate towards global innovations. Researchers in different disciplines have already identified various barriers to intergenerational collaboration. However, barriers are changing depending on the context of collaboration, and difficulties still exist to support intergenerational innovation in global settings. Therefore, we investigated the barriers that emerge when people work with someone decades older or younger. Overcoming Barriers to Transnational Organizing Through Identity Work : Finnish-Estonian Trade Union Cooperation

This article analyses a project by Finnish and Estonian unions to adopt ‘organizing model’ strategies through establishing the transnational ‘Baltic Organising Academy’. Initially aimed at Estonian workplaces, successful campaigns inspired Finnish unions to copy the model in Finland. This cooperation was originally motivated by labour market interdependence between the two countries, and the failure of past social-partnership oriented union strategies in Estonia. Tēmas aktualitāte saistās ar identificēto problēmu, ka stacionāros ārstēšanas procesā nav iesaistīta starpdisciplinārā komanda. Pētījuma mērķis izvērtēt starpdisciplinārās komandas sadarbības modeļa efektivitāti bērnu psihoneiroloģiskajā slimnīcā. Izvirzīti pētījuma jautājumi: kā starpdisciplinārās komandas dalībnieki vērtē savstarpējo sadarbību komandā un kā veicināt sadarbības modeļa efektivitāti. Cooperation between China, EU and the Baltic States – economic benefits and risks

The study is aimed at exploring the ways to deepen and expand the cooperation between China, EU and the Baltic states within different partnership formats. The authors argue that the strategic political, economic and security risks should be carefully assessed. However potential risks should not be exaggerated and should not overshadow new opportunities of EU – Baltics - China cooperation for growth and jobs creation.

China and Baltic States have developed economic cooperation under the format of “16+1” (later “17+1” when Greece joined in 2019), where both sides have taken more “open” attitudes and policies to establish closer cooperation in trade and investment. This paper is to research the current trends of the economic cooperation between China and the Baltic States as well as the future scenarios thereof combining economic and political analysis.
