Institutions and educators are massively and uncritically integrating digital curricular materials in their teaching praxis. This article aims to uncover whether health and fitness APP images convey or legitimize stereotypes linked to bodies, focusing on gender, race, somatotype and physical activity practice. We also analyse whether these apps are adequate for the recommended age or whether they are designed by physical education professionals. For that purpose, we designed a descriptive, comparative study based on content analysis on a sample of 373 images from 128 apps selected through a PRISMA review and a pilot test. How Should We Interpret Institutional Duty-Claims?

It is rather natural to suppose that what we mean when we say that an institutional organization has a moral duty is parallel to whatever it is that we mean when we say that an individual has a duty. I challenge this interpretation on the grounds that it assumes that institutional organizations possess those characteristics or abilities requisite for moral agency—an assumption which I argue is highly suspicious. Against such an interpretation, I argue that we have very good reasons to suppose that the term ‘has a duty’ is used equivocally across individual and institutional contexts. Pressure to be both ethical and profitable can create conflicts. Morality is multi-faceted, and ethical perceptions of a company that chooses shareholder profits over avoiding community harm may depend on one’s endorsement of different moral foundations. Participants responded to different ethical dilemmas where companies chose shareholder profit over avoiding community harm. Across all studies, moral foundations influenced ethical perceptions. Effects of responsible human resource management practices on female employees’ turnover intentions

This study focuses on the effects of socially responsible human resource management (SR-HRM) practices on female employees’ turnover intentions and the moderating effect of supervisor gender on this relationship. With a sample of 212 female employees from eight different industries in Finland, the results indicate that SR-HRM practices promoting equal career opportunities and work–family integration play a significant role in reducing women's turnover intentions. The study adds to the academic discourse of corporate social responsibility by highlighting the impact of the organizational-level HRM determinants on the individual-level outcome.
