Hidden oscillations in SPICE simulation of two-phase Costas loop with non-linear VCO

Simulation is widely used for analysis of Costas loop based circuits. However it may be a non-trivial task, because incorrect choice of integration parameters may lead to qualitatively wrong conclusions. In this work the importance of choosing appropriate parameters and simulation model is discussed. It is shown that hidden oscillations may not be found by simulation in SPICE, however it can be predicted by analytical methods. peerReviewed

En este trabajo presentamos los resultados obtenidos mediante una encuesta postal a las empresas certificadas en la norma ISO 9000 de la Comunidad Valenciana. El objetivo fundamental es saber si el ahorro de costes que produce la certificación en las normas ISO 9000 de calidad es mayor que los costes que ocasiona, así como las variables influyen en la reducción de los costes. En este trabajo estudiamos la evolución de los costes de calidad en las empresas que se han certificado en las normas ISO 9000 de calidad. La metodología ha sido un estudio empírico con una muestra de las empresas certificadas en la Comunidad Valenciana. Algunos de los resultados son que las empresas reducen en términos generales los costes de fallos internos y externos y aumentan los de prevención y evaluación al certificarse en las normas ISO 9000. También destacamos que son pocas las empresas que mides estos costes sobre todo por tratarse de empresas certificadas
