Practitioners including designers and teachers developing Virtual Reality (VR) courses are facing a question regarding the strengths and subject areas in which VR-enriched courses might have the highest potential compared to conventional courses. The present study develops a survey scale to assess and match industry managers’ requirements for skills for working life. Evaluation of Student Teachers’ Perceived Quantitative Workload and Usefulness of an On-line Elementary Science Education Course Unit

We have designed a 1 ECTS on-line science pedagogy unit as a part of a 6 ECTS science education course for elementary school student teachers. To improve the unit, we asked 169 participants to estimate their use of time and the usefulness of the themes and contents in it. We analysed the responses in the framework of students’ perceived workload. The Basics of School Science was perceived as the most useful section, followed by Science Teaching and Learning Methods and Basics of Science and Scientific Knowledge in Schools, respectively. Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää, minkälaisia representaatioita saamelaisista rakennetaan norjalaisessa sekä suomalaisessa matkailumarkkinoinnissa englanniksi. Aineistona oli yksi kunkin maan virallisen matkailumarkkinointiportaalin (VisitFinland ja VisitNorway)saamelaisaiheinen alasivu. It is acknowledged that identity regulation in organizations relies on discursive resources. This study moves beyond discourse – illustrating how discourse and accounting measurements are mobilized together in revising identity. Measurement produces persistence, clarity, transparency and comparability, as well as direction: Accounting’s quantitative knowledge ‘amplifies’ discourse. We explain the Great Alliance between words and numbers in a case study addressing events in an organization’s transformation. Tämä tutkielma käsittelee erään suomalaisen videopelaajan koodinvaihtoa suomen ja englannin kielen välillä suoratoistopalvelussa eli striimissä (engl. stream). Videopelin pelaamisen ja pelikavereilleen kommunikoimisen lisäksi striimaajiksi kutsutut henkilöt puhuttelevat myös yleisöään.
