Although research in Audiovisual Translation is said to have come of age in the past decade, there are still several key issues that have not received the scholarly attention they deserve. El presente trabajo analiza la acción social desarrollada por los diarios católicos Abc y El Debate durante la II República española a propósito de las reformas aprobadas en el campo de la enseñanza. Para ello, se analizan las estrategias de enmarcado dominantes a partir del examen de 355 documentos, publicados entre 1931 y 1933. The contemporary education paradigm highlights the interdependency of home and school expertise. This discourse analysis study examines the narrated agentive possibilities of 18 Finnish mothers of children diagnosed with ADHD to influence and be involved in their child's schooling. Mothers' strong involvement endeavor is premised on their expertise concerning ADHD, distrust of teachers' adequate knowledge of and attitude towards their child, and anxiety for their child's wellbeing.
