Patterns of university teachers’ approaches to teaching, professional development and perceived departmental cultures

Many studies have been conducted about academics’ approaches to teaching, professional development and perceived departmental culture, but their interconnectedness has been considered to a lesser extent. The research presented here examined these patterns comparatively by disciplinary fields and years of teaching experience. Three inventories were filled in by 1141 academics from one Finnish and two Hungarian universities. The management of crop-livestock systems at a territory level: the example of grain legume crops and of monogastric livestock in Burgundy, France

Although cereals and oil seed crops are very developed in Burgundy, the area of grain legumes cultivation is small. Concerning monogastric livestock, the region is characterised by a medium size poultry production focussed on markets under quality and origin signs (SIQO) and a relatively small pig production. Although a tendency of co-location of these productions can be observed (at territory and farm scales) and some animals consume locally-produced proteins, there is no strong functional link between these crops and animal activities. El texto analiza la importancia que tuvo el uso literario de la sátira para la cultura política del primer republicanismo español a través de la figura de Juan Martínez Villergas (1817-1894), el más conocido autor satírico de la España de las décadas centrales del siglo XIX. Se señalan el sentido y la utilidad de este género literario para esta cultura política. Asimismo, se apunta a cómo la confluencia entre la actividad política y la literaria configuraron un determinado modelo de poeta revolucionario y una forma de entender la literatura que empezó a ser cuestionada y arrinconada en la España posrevolucionaria, bajo la hegemonía cultural del liberalismo respetable.
