Kvalifikācijas darbā izstrādāts ģeogrāfiskās informācijas sistēmas papildinājums telpisko objektu meklēšanai. Sistēmas papildinājuma mērķis - atvieglot sistēmas lietotāju darbu, kā arī paaugstināt produktivitāti, ieekonomējot laiku objektu meklēšanai. The studies on the embryonal development of Angiosperms are essentially descriptive and some quantitative data are only available at the present time. Within Dicotyledons, one must mentioned the works of Rietsema and al. (1955) on the growth of ovules and embryos of Datura stramonium, the interesting comparison between the growth of Capsella and Gossypium embryos effected by Pollock and Jensen (1964), the studies of Simoncioli (1974) and Tykarska (1980) on two Brassicaceae, respectively Diplotaxis erucoides and Brassica napus, and the work of Gray and al. (1984) on the embryo development of Daucus carota.

Some qualitative properties for the total variation flow

We prove the existence of a finite extinction time for the solutions of the Dirichlet problem for the total variation flow. For the Neumann problem, we prove that the solutions reach the average of its initial datum in finite time. The asymptotic profile of the solutions of the Dirichlet problem is also studied. It is shown that the profiles are nonzero solutions of an eigenvalue-type problem that seems to be unexplored in the previous literature. The propagation of the support is analyzed in the radial case showing a behaviour entirely different to the case of the problem associated with the p-Laplacian operator. Elliptic equations having a singular quadratic gradient term and a changing sign datum

In this paper we study a singular elliptic problem whose model is \begin{eqnarray*} - \Delta u= \frac{|\nabla u|^2}{|u|^\theta}+f(x), in \Omega\\ u = 0, on \partial \Omega; \end{eqnarray*} where $\theta\in (0,1)$ and $f \in L^m (\Omega)$, with $m\geq \frac{N}{2}$. We do not assume any sign condition on the lower order term, nor assume the datum $f$ has a constant sign. We carefully define the meaning of solution to this problem giving sense to the gradient term where $u=0$, and prove the existence of such a solution. Symmetrization for singular semilinear elliptic equations

Existence and comparison results for a singular semilinear elliptic equation with a lower order term

This paper deals with the homogeneous Dirichlet problem for a singular semilinear elliptic equation with a first order term. When the datum is bounded we prove an existence result and we show that any solution can be compared with the solution to a suitable symmetrized problem.

Kvalifikācijas darbā „Tēzaurs.lv tīmekļa saskarne, izmantojot dokumentoriantētu datu bāzi” aprakstīta jauna tīmekļa saskarnes izveide lielākajai tiešsaistē pieejamai latviešu valodas skaidrojošajai vārdnīcai (243 tūkst. šķirkļu). Izveidotais programmprodukts nodrošina saskarni šīs vārdnīcas šķirkļu meklēšanai, apskatīšanai un rediģēšanai, kā arī vārdnīcā neietilpstošu automātiski ģenerētu papildu datu attēlošanu. Darba ietvaros veikta saskarnes prasību apzināšana, programmprodukta projektāšana, realizēšana, izmantojot programmēšanas valodu Python, ietvaru Django un dokumentorientētu datubāzu dzinēju MongoDB, kā arī radīta produkta kvalitātes nodrošināšana, ieskaitot testēšanu.
