On approaches for solving computationally expensive multiobjective optimization problems

In this thesis, we consider solving computationally expensive multiobjective optimization problems that take into account the preferences of a decision maker (DM). The aim is to support the DM in identifying the most preferred solution for problems that have several conflicting objectives and when the evaluation of the candidate solutions is time consuming. This is conducted by replacing computationally expensive functions with computationally inexpensive functions, known as surrogates. W opracowaniu przeanalizowano system podejmowania decyzji administracyjnych przedsiębiorstwa rolnego pod względem jego funkcjonowania w przestrzeni informacyjnej. Sformułowano warunki funkcjonowania systemu i wyjaśniono ogólne etapy składowe systemu. Zdefiniowano kierunki strumieni informacyjnych i określono rolę czynników wpływających na skuteczność całego systemu.
Gry kooperacyjne w podejmowaniu decyzji logistycznych

W artykule zaprezentowano możliwości zastosowania teorii gier kooperacyjnych w podejmowaniu decyzji logistycznych. Wskazano, że kooperacja pozwala na generowanie korzyści i efektów synergicznych i może być z powodzeniem stosowana w procesie podejmowania decyzji w całym łańcuchu dostaw.

Defensive medicine occurs when a healthcare practitioner performs treatment or procedure to avoid exposure to malpractice litigation. The corporate social responsibility promise is a fascinating one: companies are able and willing to regulate themselves, and self-regulation is manifested in collaborative efforts that promote individual well-being. Yet, this macro-level promise has a silenced flip side in organizational contexts. We argue that corporate social responsibility has diffused the idea of employee responsibilization into organizational environments, so it entails a dual role for employees: employees become both the objects and the subjects of corporate social responsibility. Unboxing co-creation of value: Users' hedonic and utilitarian drivers

Value co-creation through involving users in service processes via resource integration is a focal service research interest. However, studies often take a firm-centric or generic approach and overlook value co-creation from the point view of an individual user. We address this gap by adopting a qualitative research approach and laddering interviews (n = 113) to examine users’ hedonic and utilitarian drivers for value co-creation behavior in five service system contexts.
