Nell’ambito di una ricerca interdipartimentale il lavoro presenta l’esperienza di coordinamento di una attività progettuale condotta con giovani laureati nel centro storico di Caltabellotta, i cui lavori si offrono come occasione per aiutare la città a precisare intenzioni e atteggiamenti, riflessioni e azioni per innescare processi reali di rigenerazione. Un testo iniziale precisa e racconta le finalità del coordinamento.

Evaluation of the Department of Neurosurgery of the Seoul National University Hospital

The Department of Neurosurgery (DNS) of the Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH), belongs to the largest and oldest such institutions in Korea. Because of its growing reputation it is hardly surprising that the DNS draws visitor and scholars for clinical education and academic exchange from far beyond Korea. I myself visited the SNUH in February and March 2013. During this time I composed this evaluation in which I compare the DNS to my home Department at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz/Germany, as well as the situation of Neurosurgery in Korea and Germany in general. Governing at the frontier of the European Commission : the case of seconded national officials

Studies of executive institutions have largely dealt separately with national and international executive institutions (IEIs). This study unpacks and repacks four conflicting decision-making dynamics that unfolds at the frontier of IEIs – that is, at the institutional rim where national and international executive institutions meet, interact and collide. The empirical laboratory utilised is seconded national experts in the European Commission.
