Depresijas simptomu saistība ar darba atmiņu
2021
Pētījuma izlase sastāv no vispārējās populācijas (N=171).

The effect of improvisational music therapy on the treatment of depression: protocol for a randomised controlled trial
2008
Background. Music therapy is frequently offered to individuals suffering from depression. Despite the lack of research into the effects of music therapy on this population, anecdotal evidence suggests that the results are rather promising. The aim of this study is to examine whether improvisational, psychodynamically orientated music therapy in an individual setting helps reduce symptoms of depression and improve other health-related outcomes. In particular, attention will be given to mediator agents, such as musical expression and interaction in the sessions, as well as to the explanatory potential of EEG recordings in investigating emotion related music perception of individuals with depr…

LA TERAPIA FARMACOLOGICA DELLA DEPRESSIONE DOPO INFARTO MIOCARDICO ACUTO
2004
Depressed mood and other depressive symptoms frequently appear after acute myocardial in- farction and it is known how these patients have an increased risk for morbidity and mortality com- pared to patients without depression. Many risk factors promote the development of clinical depres- sion in patients with recent myocardial infarction. Although a large number of studies underline the negative prognostic impact of depression on the infarcted patient, only rarely depressed patients are appropriately diagnosed and treated. Furthermore it should be borne in mind that the use of psychotropics in medically ill patients re- quires attention. These compounds, in fact, may interact with the dise…
A meta-analysis on heart rate variability biofeedback and depressive symptoms
2021
Heart rate variability biofeedback (HRVB) has been used for a number of years to treat depressive symptoms, a common mental health issue, which is often comorbid with other psychopathological and medical conditions. The aim of the present meta-analysis is to test whether and to what extent HRVB is effective in reducing depressive symptoms in adult patients. We conducted a literature search on Pubmed, ProQuest, Ovid PsycInfo, and Embase up to October 2020, and identified 721 studies. Fourteen studies were included in the meta-analysis. Three meta-regressions were also performed to further test whether publication year, the questionnaire used to assess depressive symptoms, or the interval of …
Relationships Between Childhood Health Experience and Depression Among Older People: Evidence From China
2021
The assessment of childhood health experience helps to identify the risk of depression among older people. Poor childhood experience is generally associated with depression in adulthood. However, whether such association can be extended to older people’ life remains unclear. The history of parental mental health was obtained from 2014 CHARLS Wave 3 (Life History Survey) data while other data from 2011 CHARLS Wave 1 baseline data. The study involves 4,306 respondents. The depression was assessed by the Chinese version of Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scales (CES-D) using logistic regression model. More than 40% of older people suffered from depression, 25% of whom experienced p…
Cultural adaptation of a cognitive behavioral Internet intervention for the treatment of depression in Ecuador
2023
Pētījumā piedalījās 90 dalībnieki vecumā no 15 līdz 74 gadiem.
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and Risk Factors in Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction After Emergency Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: A Lo…
2021
This study aimed to investigate the status and risk factors of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in acute and convalescence phases. A longitudinal study design was used. Two questionnaire surveys were conducted in the acute stage of hospitalization, and 3 months after onset in patients. Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors for PTSD in AMI patients. The incidence of PTSD was 33.1 and 20.4% in acute and convalescent patients, respectively. The risk factors related to PTSD were door-to-balloon time (DTB) (≥92.6 min), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) (&…
