El barrio del Cabanyal-Canyamelar-Cap de Franca es uno de los conjuntos urbanos mas destacables de la ciudad de Valencia. Un Plan parcial urbanistico promovido por el Ayuntamiento a finales de los noventa preveia alterar notablemente su morfologia, ante la posicion contraria de un vecindario que se movilizo y consiguio atenuar parte del impacto del plan. En una nueva etapa, el Ayuntamiento encarga una estrategia sostenible para el barrio que respete el patrimonio e incluya el punto de vista de los ciudadanos. El artículo expone en la primera parte la concepción de la forma estética alegoría en El origen del drama barroco alemán de Walter Benjamin y el modo en que Adorno se apropia de esta concepción para construir su idea de historia natural. La segundaparte del artículo se centra en exponer la relación de las alegorías con las imágenes dialécticas de la Exposé de 1935 para La obra de los pasajes y la crítica constructiva que hace Adorno a las mismas en la Carta-Hornberg. Dicha idea no aparece entre sus principales conceptos, pero su identificación con la idea de estructura la coloca en un lugar prominente para captar el aspecto social y dinámico de los hechos estéticos y artísticos. This paper sets out to present a novel construal of one of the notions of Vygotskian cultural-historical theory viz., zone of proximal development (ZPD) drawing upon dynamic systems theory. The principal thesis maintains that ZDP is an emergent and dynamic system which is engendered by a dialectical concatenation of psychogenesic and sociogenesic facets of human development over time. The Finnish word ’henkilö’ is difficult to translate in English as a ‘Person’, but in international plan-language, Esperanto, we can quite exactly translate it as ‘spiritulo’. The word henkilö, spiritulo, is developed in the 19th century from the ancient Finnish word ‘henki’ by the medical doctor in Jyväskylä region Wolmar Schildt-Kilpinen. This paper deals with the analysis of current changes which have been recently shaping unprecedented urban structures in some suburban areas, due to the emerging of new consumptions spaces. In particular, the work aims at highlighting the effect of urban sprawl on the main Sicilian metropolitan areas, also moulded by the diffusion of the suburban retailing formats, in order to evaluate to what extent these dynamics have been contributing to the configuration of new urban landscapes and unprecedented socio-economic structures, not to mention the support in the process of containing social and economic marginalisation.

Background: Recent evidence suggests that psychosocial treatments, particularly cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), are effective interventions for adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The objective of this review was to determine the long-term efficacy of psychosocial interventions in improving clinically relevant variables, including ADHD core symptoms, clinical global impression (CGI), and global functioning.
