This chapter discusses the results of a series of data on the syntax of subject clitic pronouns in Venetan dialects. The data were gathered through a crowdsourcing tool (google modules), and more than 700 participants took part in the inquiry. The data collection asked for grammaticality judgements on a series of contexts. The main research question was whether the syntax of subject clitics is changing in the language of the younger generation: this question is particularly important because the distribution of the Venetan varieties througout the Veneto region is changing, due to the increasing influence and presence of Italian, which is the L1 of most of the younger speakers. The aim of the article is to show how to list and develop phraseology in the oldest Polish dialect dictionary: A Dictionary of Polish Dialects by Jan Karłowicz, and then discuss the placement of phraseology in the macro- and microstructure of later, 20th century selected dialectal dictionaries. Therefore, the article is an overview of the tradition of lexical development and study of phraseology in dialectal dictionaries (on the example of Silesian Dialect Dictionary, Polish Dialects Dictionary by Polish Academy of Sciences, the dictionary of Bernard Sychta, Dictionary of Ostróda, Warmia and Mazury Dialects).

Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan kahta näytelmää, jotka ovat Willy Russellin Educating Rita (1980) sekä Jonathan Larkinin Paradise Bound (2006). Molemmat ovat liverpoolilaisia ja kuvaavat paikallisen työväenluokan elämää eri näkökulmista. Tavoitteena oli selvittää, millaista työväenluokan kieli on näytelmissä: Vastaako se todellista työväenluokan kieltä? Onko kielessä eroja näytelmien välillä? Vastauksia haettiin niin yhteiskuntatieteellsen luokka-analyysin kuin kielitieteenkin avulla. Hahmot jaettiin yhteiskuntaluokkiin pääosin Kate Foxin teorian perusteella, eli sen mukaan, toivoivatko he kuuluvansa korkeampaan luokkaan.
